North Las Vegas is getting its own version of Downtown Summerlin
North Las Vegas is entering a major new chapter with Hylo Park, a 73-acre mixed-use development at Lake Mead Boulevard and Rancho Drive. The project is being developed by Agora Realty & Management and is designed to combine retail, dining, residential development, hospitality and sports into a walkable community destination.
The first major piece is already taking shape. Hylo Park South, a 90,750-square-foot grocery-anchored shopping center, has been completed and is 95% leased. Cardenas Markets will anchor the center, alongside tenants including Ross Dress for Less, Starbucks, Chipotle, In-N-Out and other businesses. The center is expected to open fully by early 2027.
But Hylo Park is planned to be much more than a shopping center. Future phases are expected to add a major sports complex, additional retail and dining, hospitality, and residential components. The City of North Las Vegas says the sports complex is targeted for completion in summer 2027.
That combination is why Hylo Park is being compared to Downtown Summerlin: the goal is to create a place where residents can shop, eat, gather, live and enjoy entertainment without having to leave their community.
In short, North Las Vegas isn't simply adding another shopping center—it's building a new destination.
